Venice, FL – Ada Jane Needham, 97, formerly of Peacham, VT, died October 28, 2016, at Sunset Lake Health & Rehab.

Ada was born in Grafton, MA, February 11, 1919, a daughter of Joseph and Sarah (Fairbanks) Hickory.  Mrs. Needham worked for General Electric in Ashland, MA for many years and moved to Peacham in the early 1980's.  She was a member of the Peacham Congregational Church.

She married Edward J. Needham on July 15, 1942 and he predeceased her on May 6, 2003.  Following his death she moved to Florida with her daughter and son in law.

Survivors include her daughter Betty Jane White and husband Harold of Venice, FL.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017, at 11 AM in the Peacham Village Cemetery.  Rev. Dr. Robert A. Potter, pastor of the Peacham Congregational Church, will officiate.
