North Haverhill, NH- Agnes L. Horne Bingham, 84, formerly of French Pond Road, died on November 08, 2009, at the Grafton County Nursing Home, North Haverhill. Agnes was born on September 25, 1925, in West Groton, VT, to Bert and Annie (Crouse) Hood, and was a graduate of Haverhill Academy, Class of 1942. She married Maurice Pete Horne on November 13, 1943, and they were married for 37 years. Agnes worked as a dietary aide during the 1980s at the Grafton County Nursing Home and she also volunteered countless hours there. She was a member of the former Center Haverhill Advent Christian Church where she was very involved in Bible studies. Agnes was known to be a very caring person. Later, she married Claude H. Bingham in February 1991 and he predeceased her on February 25, 1995. She was also predeceased by four sisters, Hattie Geary, Anna Boyce, Velma Lucas, and Thelma Wilson, and by a brother Horace Hood. She is survived by two daughters, Annie Boutin and Shirley Farr both of North Haverhill; a son Maurice A. Horne also of North Haverhill; six grandsons; five great granddaughters and five great grandsons; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be a calling hour on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 11, at 11 AM, at Ricker Funeral Home with burial following in Center Haverhill Cemetery.
