North Haverhill, NH- Alfred J. Dube, Sr., 76, of Cota Lane, died suddenly on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Cottage Hospital, Woodsville, NH.

Alfred was born in Canaan, VT on July 1, 1944 to Vezina and Dorothy (Powers) Dube.

He married Jo-Anne Cross on June 29, 1968. They spent 52 years together through many ups and down. But their love remained strong throughout.

For many years, Alfred drove tractor trailer truck for Francoeur Brothers in Hudson, NH.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding Ski-Doos, and watching Western movies.  He loved watching Dr. Po, Maury Povich, and Jerry Springer. Mostly, he appreciated the time spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Jo-Anne of North Haverhill; three daughters, Veronica Boyce and husband Chris of Woodsville, Yvonne Godwin and wife Andrea of Wells River, VT, and Cary Kaplan and husband Kyle of Franklin, NH; two sons, Alfred Dube, Jr. of North Haverhill and Jon Dube of Laconia, NH; ten grandchildren, Michael Gousse, Ethan Fox, Rylee and Rayvin Boyce, Mathew and Ryan Waring, Harrison and Kourtney Kaplan, Dante and Felix Dube; a great granddaughter, Braelyn Gousse; siblings,  Lloyd Dube of Magog, Quebec, Leonard Dube, Sr. and wife Irene of North Haverhill, Dorothy Cross and husband Gary of Whitefield, NH, Robert Dube of Nashua, NH, Linda Leveque of Whitefield, Debra Devost and husband Reno of Hudson, Jeffrey Dube of Newbury, VT, Heather Roy and husband Lenny of Campton NH, Diane Cobb and husband Thomas of North Haverhill, Susan Michaud of Mexico, Robert Dube and wife Janice of North Haverhill, Annette Bunce and husband Robbie of Milford, NH, Daniel Dube of Nashua.

He was predeceased by a brother Hector Dube.
