Landaff, NH- Allan Audman McPherson, 84, of Merrill Mountain Road, died on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at the Grafton County Nursing Home in North Haverhill, NH. Allan was born in Walden, VT on March 12, 1930, to John and Elenora (Hughes) McPherson. He served with the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War from February 3, 1950 to September 24, 1953. On June 27, 1958, he married Beatrice Bea A. Marsh. During his working career he worked for several companies in Connecticut. For several years he was an electrical foreman for Allegheny Ludlam Steel in Wallingford, CT. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking and making baby and doll cradles. He loved boating, camping, picnicking, which was quality time spent with his family. Allan and Bea enjoyed taking Bob Ross painting classes. Allan was predeceased by a sister, Bernice Bunnell and a brother, Herbert McPherson. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beatrice Bea A. McPherson of Landaff; two daughters, Cynthia Cindy Ruggiero and husband Michael Mike of Smithfield, RI and Laurie Ann Vogl and husband Richard Rick of Shelton, CT; three sons, Timothy Tim McPherson and wife Anne of East Haddam, CT, Randy McPherson and fianc Tammy Hilton of Wallingford, CT, and Michael Mike McPherson and wife Jen of Southington, CT; three sisters, Betty Dube and husband Mark of Lisbon, NH, Pauline Macou of Lisbon, and Marjorie Blodgett and husband Bill of Landaff; a brother, Richard Mitch McPherson and wife Roberta of Lisbon; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Irving Marsh of Woodsville, NH; a special friend, Diana Caswell of Lisbon; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be on Saturday, March 21, at 1 PM, at the Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH with Rev. Lyn Winter officiating.
