Allison Jean "Allie" Darling, 60, passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2026. She was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, on June 6, 1966, to Wilson Darling and Patricia Crapo.

Allie was born with disabilities and lived for a time with Bernice Shutt, receiving wonderful care and support from Dawn and Dale Patneaude. Allie truly loved being right in the center of the action, and her lifelong motto was simply, "Life is good."

Some of her absolute favorite moments were spent enjoying summer concerts in the park and watching children play. She was a valued member of Tempo/Common Ground. Over the years, Allie also shared a deep bond with her special friend, Heather Griffith, and the two are now joyfully reunited. Allie loved "running the roads" and always looked forward to her physical and occupational therapy sessions with Ray Binion.

She is survived by her devoted caregivers, Richard and Sarah Donovan of Littleton, NH; her sister, Pamela Boughton of Deep River, CT; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Rusty Hitchcock.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 11 a.m. in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Woodsville, NH.
