Obituary

Pelham, NH – Andrew A. Landry, 86, died Sunday, June 9, 2019, at The Inn at Fairview in Hudson, NH, following a period of declining health.

He was born in Nashua, NH, December 12, 1932, the son of Alphonse and Ruth (Ackerman) Landry.  He graduated from Nashua High School and the Arlington Academy of Music.  Being able to play music by ear, he eventually took lessons and taught music for a living.  He had also worked as a greens keeper at a number of golf courses, as well as for Ralph House Construction, painting and staining.

Andy was a member of William Sewell Gardner-Kilwinning Masonic Lodge in Lowell, MA, and served as the lodge organist.  He was also a member of the Scottish Rite Masonic Body, was a 32nd degree Mason, and had been awarded the Valley of Lowell Scottish Rite Meritorious Service award in 2003.  He was the director of music of the Masonic Degree Plays, and a former member of the Nashua ActorSingers Group.

He married the former Lois Cook of Monroe, NH on September 9, 1967.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years Lois Landry of Pelham; their daughter Charity Willis and fiancé` Roger Montbleau of Pelham; his grandson Cyran Willis and granddaughters Cloverlyn and Cashlyn Willis; along with several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a sister Eva St. Onge and a half sister Eva Spartachino.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be on Wednesday, June 19 at 1 PM in the Monroe Village Cemetery with Melissa Gould, Funeral Celebrant, leading the service.
