Glencliff, NH- Ardeth M. Ball, 86, died on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Presidential Oaks in Concord, NH after a long illness. Ardeth was born in Woodsville, NH, March 19, 1928 to Gerald and Lilla (Martin) Stimson. She graduated from Woodsville High School, class of 1946. Ardeth married Clifford E. Ball in November of 1950. She was a lifelong resident of Glencliff and was a member of the Glencliff Community Chapel. Ardeth was a nurse s aid at the Glencliff Home for the Elderly for over 20 years. After retiring, she continued to offer service to her church and her community. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Clifford E. Ball on April 15, 2009; and by two sisters, Eunice Dale and Wilma Fillinger. Ardeth is survived by her children, Wanda Bassler of Datil, NM, Brian Ball of Glencliff, NH, and Darleen Ball of Concord, NH; a brother, Preston Stimson of Virginia; two sisters, Elsine Roderick and Noreen Chase both of Bath, NH; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21, at 1 PM at the Glencliff Community Chapel.
