Woodsville, NH - Arlene Ethel Kelley, age 80, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2015 at Mass General Hospital in Boston MA. She was born in Newton MA. Sept. 9 1935, the daughter of William Robert Chinnock Weaver and Vera Mae (Moffet) Weaver. Arlene married James Edwin Kelley on April 6, 1955. Arlene Kelley, known as Nana to most, was a red lipstick wearing, Elvis Presley loving, card playing, story-telling, crocheting and knitting queen. She loved wintering in California with her son at his ranch and in Florida with friends and family. She cherished time spent with her family telling stories, playing cards, playing dominoes, painting nails, and the list goes on. She was predeceased by her husband, James Edwin Kelley on June 26, 1998; four (4) brothers - Vernie Weaver, Wally Weaver, James Weaver and Bobby Weaver. Survivors include her two daughters, Kathy Sargent and husband Edward of Pike NH and Jane Hatch of N. Haverhill; her two sons, Michael Kelley of San Diego, CA and Paul Kelley and Diane Brown of Rumney NH; two sisters, Barbara Stevens and husband Donald of Piermont, NH and Shirley Kiser and husband Paul of Pleasant Grove, Utah; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be forever in their hearts, forever in their memories. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be on Thursday, October 1, at 10AM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH. Burial will follow at 1 PM at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Plymouth, NH.
