Obituary

Monroe, NH- Arlene Clara Weeks, 80, of Littleton Road, died on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at the Elmwood Center in Claremont, NH.

Arlene was born in Haverhill, NH on September 21, 1938, during the 1938 hurricane to Harold George and Dorothy Frances (Wheeler) Carr.  She graduated from Woodsville High School in 1956, then served in the United States Air Force.  On July 30, 1960 she married Stanley W. Weeks.  Arlene worked at Carlson's Lodge, Living Water Campground, and Garneau's Cabins in Twin Mt., then for over 25 years for Littleton Coin Company in Littleton, NH.  She enjoyed collecting eagle statues, coins, photo's , bird watching, crocheting, and knitting.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Roger, Foster, and Reymer Carr.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Stanley W. Weeks of Monroe; a son, Alan Weeks of McIndoe Falls, VT; a daughter, Sue Weeks of Swiftwater, NH; five grandchildren, Skye, David, Erica, Curtis, and Matthew, and nine great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Swiftwater Road, Woodsville, NH, with date and time to be announced.
