Arthur
Hebebrand
March 24, 2024
Arthur "Artie" John Hebebrand, 64, died at his brother's home in North Haverhill on Sunday, March 24, 2024. He was born February 17, 1960, in Hartford Connecticut to Arthur D. Hebebrand and Bertha "Birdie" Hebebrand (Lamb). Shortly after he was born the family moved to North Haverhill, NH where his parents operated a sawmill and farm. He learned to work in the mill and farm at a young age. Artie also learned to weld while on the homestead.
"If you could walk, you could learn to work."
Despite all the work growing up, Artie found time to enjoy fishing and hunting. Hunting with all the cousins and friends from his aunt's cabin in Lyman, NH was always fun. Later in his teenage years, he worked in the woods logging and running skidders. If someone needed a tree down, they looked to him to get it done. He enjoyed selling campfire wood by the roadside and enjoyed his own campfire with a cold beer.
He is survived by his sister Jeannette E Rings Hebebrand, brother Allen D. Hebebrand, nephew Steven Wanamaker Hebebrand, and Neice Janeen Rings.
He is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Bertha (Birdie) Hebebrand, aunt Arlene Weaver, and cousins Mike and Philip Weaver.
Thank you to the Cottage Hospital and Dartmouth Hitchcock teams and especially to North Country Home & Hospice for keeping him comfortable.
Per Artie's wishes there will be no services, but please share memories and visit with his family.
