Warren, NH – Avis Marjorie Cushing, 86, of Lund Lane, died Monday, May 28, 2018, at her home.

She was born in Wentworth, NH, May 3, 1932, a daughter of Harvey and Marjorie (Smith) Huckins.  She attended Orford High School.

Avis was a member of the Eastern Star, was a Girl Scout leader, and was a member of the Warren United Methodist Church and choir since 1956 along with the WSCS.  She was a 67 year member of the Pythian Sisters, holding all the chairs, including Most Excellent Chief.  She volunteered and dedicated many hours to numerous community projects.

She leaves her beloved husband of 69 years, Irving; two daughters, Donna Campbell of Warren and Rhonda Martin of Wolfeboro, NH; four granddaughters and three great grandsons; and several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, June 3rd, from 1 to 3 PM, at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH.

Private burial will be held at a later date in the Warren Village Cemetery.
