Barbara Hudson, 80, Woodsville, died suddenly at home on Friday, January, 28, 2022. She was born in Littleton, NH on May 31,1941 to Emily Noyes. She was raised by Emily and Albert Conn in Lisbon. She graduated from Lisbon High School with the class of 1959 and married Delbert "Joe" Hudson on October 17, 1959.The couple shared 49 years together until Joe's death in 2009.

Barbara worked many jobs in the area but is mostly remembered as the Lunch Lady at Woodsville Elementary School where she worked for over 20 years. She was also known as the area Avon Lady. In her free time she enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, crocheting, doing embroidery, and watching the Bruins "hockey fights"

She was predeceased by her mother and stepfather, a brother John Conn, and a sister Elaine Conn. She is survived by a son, Michael Hudson of West Topsham, VT, three daughters Karen Gingue and her husband Bernard of St. Johnsbury, VT, Joanne McClintock and her husband William of Woodsville, NH, and Donna Baker of Staatsburg, NY, a sister, Louise Ainsworth of Conway, NH, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be a graveside service at Pine Grove Cemetery, Swiftwater Road, Woodsville, on Tuesday, May 31st at 1:00 p.m. with Melissa Gould as celebrant.
