Groton, VT Barry Michael Sullivan, 52, died on Friday, May 1, 2009, at his residence. He was born in Weymouth, MA, on January 19, 1957, the son of Robert Earl and Alice Elizabeth (Mealey) Sullivan. Barry graduated from Hingham High School in Hingham, MA. He married Linda Joyal on June 10, 1978. He enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, and over the years had coached softball, basketball, and baseball. He was predeceased by his father Robert E. Sullivan. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Linda Sullivan of Groton, VT; his five children, Kelly Sullivan of Lincoln, NH, Sarah Barnes and husband Stephen of Barnet, VT, Pamela Allen and husband Trevor of North Haverhill, NH, Brian Sullivan of Groton, and Robyn Sullivan of Groton; three grandchildren, Tanner Barnes, Brenden Allen, and Brooklyn Barnes; his mother, Alice E. (Mealey) Sullivan of Groton; two brothers, Robert Sullivan and wife Melissa of Plymouth, MA and Michael Sullivan and wife Michelle of Sturbridge, MA, and a nephew, Kyle. There will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 6, at 2 PM at the Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH, with Pastor Dennis Walton of The First Baptist Church of Groton officiating. Burial will follow at the Groton Village Cemetery.
