Obituary

Pike, NH Beatrice Paula Anderson, 85, formerly of Anderson Lane, died on Monday, February 25, 2008 at the Grafton County Nursing Home, North Haverhill, NH. She was born in Lowell, VT, July 16, 1922, the daughter of Wilfred D. and Josephine M. (Carl) Diette. Beatrice was married to Earl H. Anderson on February 12, 1943. She had formerly worked as a housekeeper for Dr. McKinlay in North Haverhill. She was a member of the Connecticut Valley Snowmobile Club for more than 25 years and enjoyed many years of camping with her husband, Earl. She loved doing handcrafts such as needlepoint, crocheting and quilting. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Woodsville, NH. Beatrice was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Earl H. Anderson on November 19, 2007. Survivors include two sons, Bruce Anderson and wife Van, and Dennis Anderson and wife Pam, all of North Haverhill; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; five step great grandchildren and one step great great grandson; two sisters, Gertrude Sanville of Orleans, VT and Theresa Taylor of West Glover, VT; a brother, Hector Diette of East Hampton, MA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be Sunday, March 2, from 3-5 PM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, March 3, at 11 AM St. Joseph Catholic Church, 15 Pine Street, Woodsville, NH, with Rev. Daniel J. Sinibaldi, officiating. Her burial will be with her husband Earl s on May 1, at 10 AM at Horsemeadow Cemetery, North Haverhill, NH. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodsville Ambulance Service, PO Box 101, Woodsville, NH 03785.
