Groton, VT- Beatrice Emerson passed on Saturday, April 5, 2014, a daughter of Calvin and Zoa Darling of Groton, VT. She married Paul Emerson on March 10, 1942.

She was predeceased by her sons, Ralph and Royce Emerson; a son-in-law, Harry Oliver; and a grandson, Dwayne Emerson. She is now united with her husband and family.

She loved her family, home, and flowers. She worked over 20 years for Lillian and Bill Eastman of Topsham, VT and Evelyn McDonald at the 4 corners.

She is survived by two daughters, Pauline Oliver and Mary Grant; three sons, David, Kendall, and Gale "Pete" Emerson; 21 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 9 great great grandchildren.

A graveside service is being planned for Saturday, May 17th at 1 PM at the Groton Village Cemetery with Pastor Candace Ricker officiating.

A gathering will immediately follow at the Groton Community Building.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
