Groton, VT Bernice Mae Bunny Langevin, 88, died April 8, 2011 at the St. Johnsbury, VT Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Marshfield, VT, January 2, 1923, a daughter of Fred and Ida (Buchanan) Needham and has lived in Groton for many years. Prior to her retirement she worked in quality control and as a lab technician for 35 years at Sprague Electric of Barre, VT. Bernice married Arthur P. Langevin on May 5, 1973 and he predeceased her on March 2, 1998. She was also predeceased by a sister Phyllis Burke, and two brothers Robert and Edward Needham. Survivors include two nieces, Betty Jane White of Venice, FL and Janet Saleido of Barnwell, SC; three nephews, Joe Grant of Newbury, VT, Jay Burke of Wales, WI, and Gary Needham of Thetford Center, VT; a sister in law, Ada Needham of Venice, FL; and her step children, Eleanor Sassi of Barre, VT, Shirley Gorski of Charleston , SC, Arthur Langevin of Norman, OK, Edward Langevin of Seal Beach, CA, Wilfred Langevin of Barre, VT, Harold Langevin of Monks Corner, SC, Donald Langevin of Enfield, NH. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service in Groton Village Cemetery will be on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 2 PM, with Pastor Candace Ricker of the Groton United Methodist Church officiating.
