Groton. VT – Betty Jean Webster, 86, of Clark's Landing, died Friday, May 24, 2019, at her home following a period of failing health.

She was born in Barre, VT, November 27, 1932, the daughter of Claude and Pearl (Rollins) Hutchins.  For several years she worked at the former Woodsville Industries and as a laundress at the former Brookside Nursing Home in Bradford, VT.  She spending time embroidering, reading, working on puzzles, and spending time wither many friends and loved ones.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Webster, on April 5, 1987, her sisters, Grace Kiser and Mae Laviolette, her brothers, Carl, George, and Berne Bouley, and her grandsons, Eric and Jason Webster.

Survivors include her son, Lyndol Webster and wife Pauline (Records) of North Vernon, IN, her daughter Susie Dexter and husband Ronald of Knoxville, TN, a granddaughter Samantha Allen and husband Matthew of Indianapolis, IN, two great grandchildren, Catlian Webster of North Vernon, IN and Jayson Webster of Paragould, AR, stepbrothers, stepsisters, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be no calling hours. A graveside burial service and celebration of life are being planned for a later date.
