Obituary

Newbury, VT-  Beulah E. "Babe" (Dyke) Ladeau, 78, of Halls Lake Road, died October 11, 2020, at St. Johnsbury (VT) Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.

She was born in Haverhill, NH, December 6, 1941, the daughter of Newton K. and Beulah (Forsythe) Dyke.  Babe had a tremendous love of children which led to her babysitting many children throughout her life.   She also had a love for racing and would look forward to the many trips that she would go on with her brother, Volney, the Fadden's, and Shelly Law (Perkins).  She had a love for baseball and would spend many hours watching it and yelling at the TV like they could hear her.  Babe also enjoyed playing board and card games with the children and doing her word searches.  She had a love for her cats and had numerous felines throughout her life.

Babe is survived by her extended family of 50 years including, George and Nellie Perkins of Newbury, VT; Shelly and Todd Law, Rylee and Emma of Orange, VT; Kyle and Chrystal White, Brayden, Oawen, Kenzleigh of East Corinth, VT; Kimberly and William Wells, Scarlett, Sophia of Johnson, VT; Tyler and Emily Law, Madasyn, Laycie, Venessah of Rutland, VT; Cammy Perkins and Larry Welch, Brandon, Levi, Lucas, Garrett of South Ryegate, VT; and Michael and Linda Perkins, Harley of Newbury, VT.  She is also survived by a daughter Cindy Clough of Sunapee, NH; 4 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents, Newton and Beulah Dyke; six brothers, Volney, Joseph, Theodore, Newton, Gordon, and Francis; and her sister, Dorothy.

There will be no calling hours.

There will be a graveside service that will be held on October 23rd at 10 AM at Ladd Street Cemetery on Cemetery Road, Haverhill, NH with Melissa Gould as Funeral Celebrant.
