Obituary

Monroe, NH- Beverly June Zambon, 71, of Harley View Drive, died on August 10, 2010, at Littleton Regional Hospital, Littleton, NH. Beverly was born in Sweet Springs, MO, on March 4, 1939, to Harry and Fern (Schrankler) McCoy. She graduated from Bakersfield High School and from beauty school, both in California. In 1983, she moved to North Haverhill, NH. On July 15, 1984, she married Peter D. Zambon and in the mid 1990 s, they moved to Monroe. While in California, Beverly was employed as a hairdresser. While in New Hampshire, she managed Subway shops in both Woodsville and Littleton, retiring in 2001. Beverly belonged to a local quilters group. She also enjoyed freshwater stream and river fishing, as well as target shooting. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Peter Zambon of Monroe; three sons, Michael May of Boise, ID, Robert and Jeff May both of Hanford, CA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one stepson and two stepdaughters; a sister, Diana Sorce of Little Rock, AR; a brother, Bud McCoy of Arizona; a half brother Eugene McCoy of California; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be on Monday, August 16, 2010, at 10 AM at the Monroe Village Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Donald Thomas officiating.
