Woodsville, NH – Blanche Eileen Turner, 81, of Melody Lane, died on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Cottage Hospital, Woodsville, NH.

Blanche was born in Hartford, CT, September 10, 1935, a daughter of  Gordon and Eva (Dussault) Wilson.

Blanche married George Edward Turner on July 4, 1969. She worked for ten years as a telephone operator before beginning work as an LPN at various hospitals all in Connecticut.   Blanche moved to Woodsville from Mansfield, CT. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

She was predeceased by her husband, George E. Turner on March 4, 2017.

She is survived by a sister, Nancy Wilson of Hartford, CT; a brother, Richard Wilson of Joshua, TX; along with nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian of Burial will be on Thursday, April 20th at 11 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 15 Pine Street, Woodsville, NH with Father Alan Tremblay as Celebrant.  Burial in St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery, Bath, NH will be at a later date.
