Obituary

Our dear mother Bonnie Kathleen (Lennon) McMinn sadly passed away on January 17, 2024 at the age of 78.
Born July 12, 1945 to Raymond Lennon and MaryEllen (Lee) Lennon of Beacon Falls, CT, she lived an abundant family life being the youngest
of eleven children.

Bonnie made friends easily and loved getting involved in her community.  In her early years she was a Baton Majorette and a Candy Striper. She liked volunteering at her church and visiting the elderly. She worked many jobs, but one constant was being an Avon Consultant. In her retirement, she joined the Eagles Club. She loved to coordinate pot-luck suppers at her home for senior living. She was always generous and made sure her children and grandchildren felt special and would chaperone field trips. She was a well-loved member of the community in Beacon Falls - Naugatuck Valley in CT and her senior home in Whitefield, NH.

She was a devoted wife for 50 years of the late Bruce R. McMinn. She was also predeceased by siblings William, Clarence, Harold, Ann and
John Lennon, MaryEllen Kingsley, and Florence Bunnel.

She will be missed by the family she leaves behind. Her son Brian P. McMinn and his wife Sylvie McMinn of Whitefield, NH. Her daughter Bridget (McMinn) Santagate and her wife Theresa Santagate of Austin, TX. Five grandchildren Jennifer Walsh of VT, Adam Mihalcik, Christopher
McMinn of NH, Ryan Capozziello of IL and Megan Capozziello of TN and four great-grandchildren Zachary, Carter, Emma and Willow June.A sister Marion Zollo of Beacon Falls, CT, brothers Raymond Lennon of Naugatuck, CT and Lee Lennon of The Villages, FL.

She will be interred with her beloved husband at Centerville cemetery in Hamden, CT.  Date will be announced at a later time.

A sponsored Irish corned beef dinner will be held in March at her
senior home residence in Whitefield.
