Brian Robert
Zambon
June 9, 1997 – October 31, 2017
North Haverhill , NH - Brian Robert Zambon passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at his home.
Brian was born in Woodsville, NH on June 9, 1997. He first attended elementary school in Bath, NH and then in Bradford, VT. He went on to graduate from Oxbow High School and River Bend Career and Technical Center in Bradford, VT in 2015. He attended a semester at Vermont Technical College in the fall of 2015, but decided that it wasn't for him.
Brian had a passion for dairy farming and cows. He comes from a long line of dairy farmers. It was in his blood. As a young teenager, Brian began to care for some beef animals at Bruce Osgood's in Bradford, VT. Brian's love for dairy farming grew from there, having had the opportunity to spend afternoons as a teenager at Larry and Sue Martin's dairy farm in Fairlee, VT. Brian continued to spend time there as an adult - they had become the best of friends. In the spring and summer of 2016 he worked at Winsome Farm in Piermont, NH. At present, Brian was working three jobs, milking for Home Acres Farm in Ryegate Corner, VT, Moonstruck Farm in Piermont, NH, and Minot Farm in Bath, NH. He made daily visits to his grandfather Zambon's farm in South Ryegate, VT. He enjoyed spending time with Gramps to help crop or with whatever else he could. He could often be found at his Uncle Dan's beef farm in Bath, NH. Brian would help his uncle hay, tend to the beef herd, or would just come to hang out. This past summer Brian spent some time helping out his friend Adam Beaulieu on Adam's dairy farm in Ryegate, VT. When he wasn't running to one of his jobs he'd make a point to swing in to see his dad, mom, and brothers. His greeting "Yo Ma!" was often shouted out as he came through the door for a visit.
Brian's grandmother Patricia Westover and his grandfather Thomas Woods passed away in November of 2007 and 2004 respectively.
Brian leaves behind his parents Scott and Deb Zambon of Bradford, VT, his older brothers Tyler Zambon of Hartland, VT and Ryan Zambon of Bradford, VT, his grandparents Robert and Lois Zambon of South Ryegate, VT, his grandmother Patricia Woods of Bath, NH, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends too numerous to mention here.
Memorial contributions may be made to Rural Vermont at www.ruralvermont.org . Brian was outspoken in supporting the survival of the small family owned farm and this would be a wonderful tribute made in his memory.
There will be a gathering in remembrance of Brian on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Zambon Brother's shop, 28 Falls View Drive, Bradford, VT, from 1-4 PM. The Bradford Park and Ride is just up the street if additional parking is needed. The family hopes you will stop by.
