Cameron Murray,18, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday March 9, 2023. Born to Nicole (Murray) Batchelder and Wade Johnson Jr., on September 1st, 2004.

Even before Cam was born his older brother, Andrew, nicknamed him, "Tarzan". Cameron absolutely loved his family and friends, and always made a special bond with animals. At an early age Cam started collecting knives and small rocks, mainly to be like his older brother, Andrew, except he never lost interest in them! In his early teen years, he picked up a bow and started practicing, soon I would find him outside all the time with it. He also picked up guitar and was mostly self-taught and was pretty darn good! But his biggest hobbies were gaming and music. If you saw Cam without an earbud in, then you knew to start asking questions. He may have been quiet, but once he felt safe around you, he would have been an amazing friend. If you needed help, he would absolutely help or at least try, no questions asked.

He attended Waits River Valley School in Corinth, VT for K-8th grade. There he met both of his best friends, Owen and Lois. Then he moved onto Oxbow High School in Bradford, VT where he also attended Riverbend Tech. While at Riverbend he attended the Automotive program where his teacher, Carl Hildebrandt, became not only a mentor but a very close friend. His senior year he switched things up and instead of going to school he was doing an accelerated program.

He was working at Walmart in Woodsville, NH for just over a year when he decided to find something different. He had just started at Hatchlands Dairy in North Haverhill, NH.

Predeceased by his grandmother, Laurie (Smith) Williams on April 15, 2018.

He is survived by his parents, Nicole (Murray) and James Batchelder of West Topsham, VT and Wade Johnson, Jr. of Groton, VT; his grandparents, Eileen and Rob Reid of Groton, VT, James Murray, Sr. of Ryegate, VT, and Deb and Wade Johnson, Sr. of Groton, VT; his siblings, Megan Batchelder of Wells River, VT, Joshua Batchelder of East Ryegate, VT, Andrew Fellows of Bath, NH, Austin Johnson of New York, James Batchelder, Jr. of West Topsham, VT, Brianna Batchelder of West Topsham, VT, James Johnson of Groton, VT; his aunts and uncles, Lisa (Dean) Murray of Wells River, VT, Eric and Lisa Murray of Groton, VT, Jimmy and Jennifer Murray of Ryegate, VT, Erica Johnson of Groton, VT; and his special friends, Owen Bailey of Corinth, VT, Lois Manning of Bradford, VT, Jamey Larabee of Woodsville, NH, Ashley Emmons of North Hero, VT, and Bonnie Heath of Fairfax, VT.

Celebration of Life will be planned later spring.
