Woodsville, NH- Carmine T. Tom Carozza, 78, of Central Street, died on June 13, 2008, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH Carmine was born on August 30, 1929, in New York City, to Carmine Joseph and Helen (Harrison) Carozza. He served in the US Army from January 1951 through December 1952. He worked for the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture for 22 years, retiring in 1986. Following his retirement from the State, he moved to upstate New York, where he worked at Pinebush High School and he retired from there in August 1994. Carmine was predeceased by a grandson, Reuben Filides. He is survived by two daughters, Gina Filides of Tampa, FL, and Angelina Smith and husband Pete of North Haverhill, NH; a son Thomas Carozza and wife Yocasta of Merrimack, NH; five grandchildren; a sister, Rose Marie Moto of New York City; two brothers, Kenneth Carozza of New York and Robert Carozza of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. A burial service will be on Monday, June 16, at 11 AM, in the chapel of the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
