March 31, 2022
North Haverhill, NH- Carol Ann (Arone) DiCienzo, 77, of Brushwood Road, died on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at the Jack Byrne Center after a fifteen month battle with cancer. Carol was blessed to have been surrounded by many caring family members and friends. Her parents Mildred (Fitzpatrick) and Vito Arone welcomed her to the world on October 11, 1944, in Waltham, MA.
Carol married Domenic DiCienzo on July 18, 1962 in Watertown, MA. They had four children together: Diane, Domenic, Debra and David. They lived in Watertown for a time before moving to Ridge, NH, and then to North Haverhill, NH.
Carol was a loving wife and mother. Her greatest joys were traveling with her husband and being with her family and friends. She was a wonderful baker and cook. Carol was an amazing textile artist, creating historical cross-stitch samplers, knitted and crocheted pieces, and many other art forms. Her home was filled with her art and antiques, but mostly filled with love.
She was predeceased by her parents, and her sister Florence Elder.
Carol is survived by her husband, Domenic; her daughter Diane Lambert and her husband David, of Hudson, MA; her son Domenic DiCienzo, of Watertown, MA; her daughter Debra DiCienzo, of Danvers, MA; her son David DiCienzo and his wife Michelle, of Ludlow, MA; her grandchildren, Daniel, Marisa and Michael DiCienzo, Alex and Emma Lambert, and Jamie and Jenna Boghosian; three brothers, John Arone, James Arone, and Edward Arone all of St. Augustine FL, beloved in-laws, Maria DeGironimo, and Donna and William Langan, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends, as well as her faithful four-legged companion Buddy the Beagle and many Granddogs.
The family wishes to thank all of Carol's friends and family, for the loving care and support they have given her throughout the years.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request that donations be made to Bayada Hospice, to honor the amazing care they have given Carol and her family over the past year.
