North Haverhill, NH-  Carole Joyce Blay, 84, formerly of Piermont, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the Grafton County Nursing Home.

Carole was born in Carroll, NH, on April 5, 1935, the daughter of Frank L. and Gertrude (Friend) Simino.

She married Fletcher C. Blay on September 26, 1953.  Carole worked at the Furniture Factory for 20 years, Pilgram Furniture, and New England Wire Technology for 12 years.  She enjoyed crocheting and over the years has made lots of afghans, camping at Old Orchard Beach, and collecting dolls.  Carole's biggest joy was cooking large meals for her family and all the weekend visits with her family.

Carole was predeceased by her husband, Fletcher C. Blay on May 12, 2005; and six brothers, Roger, Rollin, Richard, Robert, Wayne, and Gerald.

She is survived by three sons, William G. Blay and wife Cheryl of Littleton, NH, David C. Blay and wife Donna of North Haverhill, and Douglas C. Blay and husband Peter Joslin of Atkinson, NH; three daughters, Diane J. Stinnett and husband David of Bedford, NH, Darlene J. Roystan and husband Ron of Woodsville, and Deborah J. McDanolds and husband Stuart of North Haverhill; 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; three brothers, Joseph Simino of Claremont, NH, Charles Simino of Claremont, and Frank Simino of Woodsville; two sisters, Shirley Vallincourt of San Antonio, TX and Gertrude Willis of Claremont; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, September 18th, from 11AM to 1PM at the Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH.

Burial will follow in the South Lawn Cemetery, Route 10, Piermont, NH.
