Haverhill, NH - Carrie Ann (Harris) Daly, age 47, passed peacefully on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2024 at Cottage Hospital after a long hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer.  Carrie was born on August 2, 1976, at Cottage Hospital to Thomas and Sarahjean (Germain) Harris.

From an early age, Carrie spent most of her time surrounded by family and friends and always loved telling the stories that went along with that. Carrie had many loves when she was young.  From 4-H to the North Haverhill Fair, from riding horses with Vanessa to all the long summer days spent walking back and forth from Ames in North Haverhill. Upon entering Woodsville High School in 1991 Carrie was not only involved in athletics and schoolwork but she was also a devoted member of SADD (Students Against Drunk Driving) spending time as the President of the Woodsville Chapter.  One of Carrie's proudest moments as a student came when she was chosen to represent Woodsville High School at the national SADD conference which was held in Florida. Carrie was one of three students picked from the state of New Hampshire to attend this conference. Carrie graduated from Woodsville High School, class of 1994, and spent one more year at the New England School of Hair Design where she received her license in Cosmetology.

On September 30, 1995, Carrie was married to her high school sweetheart, Matthew Bennett Daly. Carrie and Matthew settled down in Haverhill where they raised their four children. While Carrie may have been a licensed Cosmetologist the only thing she really wanted to do in life was to be a stay-at-home mom. Carrie dedicated her life to her family and devoted countless hours to anything they needed.  Throughout the summer Little League season you could find Carrie and her family at the ball fields at least five days a week. When she was not being the best score keeper EVER then she was probably helping out at the concession stand and making sure it was up and running smooth.  Also, Carrie was always volunteering in the classroom (especially for any treats that needed to be made) and always made sure that EVERY child felt special as that was definitely her goal.  Carrie enjoyed being a grandmother (Lolli) more than life itself.  Being able to sit and play or just snuggle with her two granddaughters always made her day.

Carrie leaves behind her loving husband of nearly 29 years, Matthew Daly, of Haverhill, NH, son Andrew Daly(26), of Woodsville, NH, daughter Maggie Daly(24), of Monroe, NH, daughter Emma Green(21) and her husband William of Haverhill, NH, son Ian Daly(12) of Haverhill, NH,  granddaughters, Peyton Ann Green and Hazel Grace Carbee, parents, Thomas and Sarahjean Harris, of North Haverhill, NH, sister Linda Harris, of Woodsville, NH, nephews, Thomas Harris and Donald Taber along with two great nieces and one great nephew, of Woodsville, NH.

Carrie was predeceased by her paternal and maternal grandparents, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A private Celebration of life will be held with Carrie's family and friends.
