Wells River, VT Carwin Forrest Page, 66, Ryegate Road, died on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at his residence. He was born in Groton, VT, November 24, 1942, the son of Forrest and Iona Thurley (Gray) Page. Carwin attended Groton High School. He was a former owner of Groton Garage and worked at Morrison s Feed in Barnet, VT for 15 years, before retiring. He married Jane Aldrich on November 30, 1997. Carwin was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and enjoyed riding in good weather. He always enjoyed outside work, and playing his guitar. Carwin will also be greatly missed by his dog, Peter Pug Page. He was predeceased by his parents, Iona (Thurley) Page on April 15, 1993 and Forrest Page on December 16, 2002; and by an infant son, Bryce Page. Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Jane Page of Wells River; two daughters, Pamela Young and husband Raymond of Peacham, VT and Jaime Page of Fort Mill, SC; one son, Clinton Page of Thetford, VT; two step daughters, Kelly Longmoore of Wells River, VT and Marcia Whitehouse of McIndoe Falls, VT; two step sons, Trevor Ruggles of Auburn, MA and Kevin Ruggles of Danville, VT; three brothers, Gordon W. Page and wife Sue of Cottonwood, AZ, Donald R. Page and wife Joyce of Groton, VT, and Howard K. Page and wife Patty of Ryegate, VT; seven grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Calling hours will be on Friday, April 10, from 6 to 8 PM, at the Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH. A funeral service will be on Saturday, April 11, at 11 AM, at the Ricker Funeral Home, with Pastor Brian McLaughlin officiating.
