Cathy A. Sulham, 79, of Ryegate, Vermont, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Born in Woodsville, New Hampshire, on May 30, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Blanche (Estes) Page. Cathy grew up in the area, graduated from Woodsville High School, and built a life rooted deeply in her local community.

Throughout her career, Cathy was known for her strong work ethic and compassionate nature. She worked for Burndy Corp in Haverhill and later kept things running smoothly as a cleaner at Evergreen Apartments in Lincoln. Her natural instinct to care for others led her to healthcare, where she ultimately retired as a dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) at the Grafton County Nursing Home, bringing comfort and dignity to countless residents over the years.

Cathy’s family was the heart of her life. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, E. Scott Sulham, with whom she would have celebrated 56 years of marriage on September 10. She leaves behind her three sons: Scott Sulham of Ryegate; Shane Sulham and his wife, Angela Welch, of Bradford, VT; and Sloan Sulham and his wife, Jaclyn, of Savannah, GA. She is also survived by her brother, Chet Page of Woodsville, and her sister, Sandra McKean and her husband, Dick, of Woodsville, along with extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Cathy was predeceased by her sister, Janet Tegu. In accordance with Cathy’s wishes, services will be held privately by her family.
