Chad Chalon Mitchell, 53, of Woodsville, NH passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2026. Born on June 27, 1972, in Manchester, NH, he was the only child of Glenn and Rebecca Mitchell.

Chad graduated from Woodsville High School in 1990 and continued to work for the family business, Mitch’s Mobile Homes, where he had worked since his teenage years. He had a love for motorcycles and was a self-taught mechanic with Mitch’s Classic Motorcycles.

On June 8, 1991, he married his wife, Elizabeth "Beth" (Miller) Mitchell. Together, they raised two sons, Jared and Joseph. Later, he supported his sons’ passions and endeavors, whether it was shooting firearms, working on a rental property, or brewing kombucha and cold brew coffee. As a jack of all trades, he could fix most things.

Chad had a deep love for animals and cherished the many pets he cared for throughout the years. He was also a dedicated Freemason and a member of the Grafton-Kane Lodge No. 46 in North Haverhill, NH from 2001 until it merged in 2014. He proudly served as a Worshipful Master in 2004.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Mitchell, and his sons, Jared Mitchell and Joseph Mitchell; he was predeceased by his parents, Glenn and Rebecca Mitchell.
