Newbury, VT-  Charlotte L. Roystan, 73, of Evergreen Drive, died on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Cottage Hospital, Woodsville, NH.

Charlotte was born in Hanover, NH, on November 15, 1942, to Harley and Sylvia (Holt) Nelson.

From the time Charlotte became a mother and wife, she enjoyed holidays.  Halloween was a time for her creativity to shine.  She, herself, always dressed up, while doing first- prize costumes for her children and nieces and nephews.  Charlotte's home in the summer was where her nieces and nephews loved spending their time.  Charlotte's door was open to all.

She is survived by her four children Robin J. Roystan and Jayne Giambrone, Holli R. Cloyd and husband Gary, Jody E. Roystan and Sara Tewksbury, and Silva L. Roystan and Robert Skelton; twelve grandchildren, Andrew J. Roystan and Kaitlin Workman, David B. Slayton, Jada L. Slayton and Ethan Lesperance, Logan J. Roystan, Shaina L. Roystan, Heaven-Leigh S. Dery, Tyler A. Roystan, Shayle D. Dery-Roystan, Maegan S. Roystan, Kevin W. R. Rathburn, Connor F. House, and Ethan I. Roystan; and two great grandchildren, Gage Palinchik and Dominic Workman.

In keeping with Charlotte's wishes, no public services will be planned.
