Obituary

Chris Paul Platt was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on December 5, 1967. He resided at his dream home on a mountain in Bath, NH. Chris was a truck driver for several years and an offshore fisherman. He also assisted his parents at their medical research facility in the past. He is the son of Alan and Nancy Platt (Dube) and the grandson of Adrinette Marie and Albert Paul Dube.
Chris was an avid hunter and fisherman. Before moving to New Hampshire, he worked on a fishing boat in New England. He spent a lot of his time with friends and always welcomed individuals in their times of need. He was a giving person and loved to help people. His home was open for all and treated his friends like family. He loved children, especially his 3 grandchildren Elizabeth, Blake and Cameron. He took great pride in them and taught them several things about the outdoors, shooting guns and fishing. His youngest grandchild Cameron enjoyed beating him on the PlayStation. He loved talking about his family to others and always showed a lot of pride in his daughter and grandchildren. He adored his dog Bear and enjoyed spending time with him on walks around the property and spoiling him.
He passed away on November 11, 2024, with his mother and daughter by his side, and joined his beloved dog Bear and his Father in heaven that he missed with all of his heart and frequently spoke about them.
He is predeceased by his grandparents Albert Dube and Adrinette Dube, his father Alan "Bampie" "Bamps" Platt in 2015, his dog Bear in 2023 and his neighbor and friend Betsy whom he shared a love/hate relationship with.
He is survived by his beloved daughter Nikole Hardy and her husband Barry, his grandchildren Elizabeth, Blake and Cameron. His mother Nancy Platt, his brother David and his wife Liz, and his brother Bob Platt. He has several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by some of his best friends "Crispy", Willie, Nate, Pete and Roslynn.
His daughter would like to thank the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care for their amazing services, care and the empathy and support provided by the nurses and doctor. He was kept comfortable and his family taken care of at the same time and given the opportunity to go outdoors for the final time in his life and see the scenery of woods.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to go towards funeral expenses that can be given to his daughter Nikole Hardy. His daughter would like to thank his close friends that did not take advantage of him and genuinely cared for his best interest and health. She also thanks all those that have provided support to her in any kind of way during this time of loss and grief.
There will be a small graveside service will at the St. Joseph's Cemetery on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 3 PM.
