Obituary

Wells River, VT-  Clair Freeman "Skip" Tuttle, 77, of Leighton Hill Road, died on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care in Lebanon, NH.

Skip was born in Hanover, NH on October 12, 1941 to Freeman Hazen and Blanche Marie (Day) Tuttle.  On April 6, 1969, he married Diana Rollins.

For over 30 years he worked as a lumber stacker for Newman Lumber in Woodsville, NH and later at Transit Milling in Wells River before retiring in 2004.

Skip loved watching baseball games and participating in bowling leagues.  He liked camping, gardening, and riding his John Deere.

He was predeceased by two sons, Jeremy "JJ" Tuttle on September 2, 1987 and Peter A. Tuttle on May 1, 2017.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Diana Tuttle of Wells River; a son, Aaron R. Tuttle and wife Jennifer of Newbury; eight grandchildren, Jeremy John, Sara, Jami, Nicole, Riley, Tommy, Logan and Ethan; two great grandchildren, McKinley and Parker; a brother, Freeman Tuttle, Jr. and wife Anah of East Topsham, VT; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be on Sunday, June 30th at 4 PM in the Townhouse Cemetery, Newbury, VT with Mr. Brian Emerson leading the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jack Byrne Center for Palliative and Hospice Care, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH 03756.
