Berlin, VT Clifton Shute, 61, died July 21, 2009, at Fletcher Allen Healthcare in Burlingon, VT. He was born in St. Johnsbury, VT, September 25, 1947, and in his younger years spent time in the Barnet area where he worked as a farmhand. Cliff is survived by two sisters, and two brothers, along with his caregivers Waneta Danforth and John Ashford, Jr., both of Berlin, VT. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 27, at 1 PM in the Groton Village Cemetery, with Rev. Dr. Catherine Cook officiating.
