BRADFORD, VT- Constance "Connie" Mary (Brillant)  Dawson, 84, of North Pleasant Street, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Connie was born on May 22, 1937 in Claremont, NH to Lorenzo and Mary Jane (Labbe) Brillant.

Over the years Connie worked at her father's restaurant in Bellows Falls, VT.

Connie was predeceased by her parents and her sisters Rita Bellise, Venise Cosella and Jeanette Rumrill.

She is survived by two daughters, Ladonna Bassett and husband Larry of Newbury,VT, and Lucinda "Cindy" Kidder and husband Jim of Bradford, VT; her three sons, Dana Stockman and wife Kathy of Sutton, NH, Gerald "Jerry" Stockman III and wife Mary of New York, and Anthony Stockman of New York; her grandchildren, James Hines of Newbury, VT, William  Hines and wife Amber of Bradford, VT,  Dereck Baker and his wife Amber of Suffolk, VA, Christopher Taylor of Topsham, VT, and Kevin Stockman and wife Danielle of Bradford, VT; and her great-grandchildren Jacob, Rosalee, Haleigh and Harper; and her brother Lorenzo Brillant , Jr. of Morgan, VT. She also leaves behind "Buddy", who was her pet and best friend to the end.

A private burial will be held in Bellows Falls at the Saint Charles Cemetery.
