Obituary

Constance "Connie" May Emerson, 67, of Hodge Hill Rd, died on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at The Jack Byrne Center at Dartmouth Hitchcock, Lebanon, NH, following a short illness. She was born in S. Kingston, RI, on July 14, 1950, the daughter of Edward Samuel LeCour and Agnes Flora (Burgess) Holland. As a child she grew up first in RI and later in Newbury, VT. She resided in Lisbon, NH for many years and was employed at New England Wire Technologies for 25+ years. Connie enjoyed reading, listening to music, shopping, going to yard sales and most of all, decorating her home. A loving, devoted Mother and grandmother, she was known as "Nana" by her grandchildren. She loved spending quality time with her close friends and family members. She was loved and adored by many in the local community and will surely be missed. Connie was truly one of the most precious souls God ever created.

Connie is survived by her life partner of 24 years, Kevin Blodgette, her two children, Chris Emerson and wife Kelly of Groton, VT and Melissa Emerson and partner Tom Heath of Sugar Hill, NH, six grandchildren Zachary Emerson and wife Tracy of Groton, Brittany Emerson of California, Curtis Emerson of Groton, Jacob Emerson and Ethan Walker, both of Groton and Damian Chase Emerson of Lisbon, NH, two great grandchildren, Riley Grace Emerson and Everett Randall Emerson both of Groton, VT; a brother, Daniel LeCour of Newbury, VT; five sisters, Cynthia Hill and husband Gary of Corinth, VT, Winona Stewart of Wells River, VT, Rhoda Nutting and Sylvia Stanley both of RI, Sabrina Rose Holland of Wells River, VT; foster sisters, several step-brothers and step-sisters; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edward S. LeCour and Agnes F. Holland and husband Douglas Holland; her siblings Patricia Hill, Edward LeCour, and Mary Moore.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 5pm-11pm at The American Legion, Post 20, 4 Ammonoosuc St, Woodsville, NH 03785.
