Woodsville, NH Cyrena H. Getchell, 95, formerly of Smith Street, died on Sunday, October 18, 2009 at the Grafton County Nursing Home in North Haverhill, NH. She was born in Haverhill, NH, June 20, 1914, the daughter of William and Flora Mae (Nelson) Jolin. She married Leon A. Getchell. Cyrena was an Avon representative in the Woodsville area for many years. She was member of the Pythian Sisters and the Woodsville United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon A. Getchell on October 31, 1966 and a sister, Nathaleen Getchell on October 14, 1998. Survivors include three sons, Claude Gadwah, Jr. and wife Jackie of Woodsville, NH, Gene Gadwah of Woodsville, NH and Dean Gadwah and wife Bernice of Lebanon, NH; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A private burial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
