Woodsville, NH- Daniel James Hoff, 34, died on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH following a very courageous battle with cancer.

Daniel was born in Boston, MA, on October 13, 1982, to Donald Raymond Hoff and Mary (Rose) Baillargeon.  Daniel worked at WalMart in Woodsville. He was a member of the Ryegate Fire Department.  He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, going to races at Bear Ridge Speedway in Bradford, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by five children, Dustin Hoff of Mountain Lakes, Skye Hoff of Bath, Sarah Hoff of Bath, Tyler Avery of Connecticut who was adopted as an infant, and Caleb Hoff of Colebrook, NH; his mother, Mary Baillargeon and husband Roland of Littleton, NH; his sister, Mary Rose and fiancé Anthony Garcia and their daughter Breeana of Pike, NH; maternal grandmother Barbara Rose of North Haverhill,  five aunts, Theresa Sutherland, Ann Marie Rose, Jeannie Rose, Barbara Rose, and Peggy Kizik and husband Chuck; two uncles, Joe Rose and Michael Rose; and several cousins.

There will be no calling hours.

A memorial mass will be on Thursday, July 6, at 11 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 15 Pine Street, Woodsville, NH with Father Alan Tremblay officiating.

Burial will be in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Bath, NH.
