Benton, NH-  David M. Plachetzki, 42, of Coventry Road, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 19, 2021.

David was born in Michigan to Robert Plachetzki and Theresa (Malecki) Halley on November 11, 1978.  He graduated from Dearborn (MI) High School in 1997 and enlisted in the US Navy, serving from 1998 through 2007 as a hospital corpsman.  He was honorably discharged as Petty Officer 2 ^nd Class.

Following his discharge, David worked at the VA Medical Center in White River Junction, VT as an audio tech.  He later worked at Lowes, then at   Cottage Hospital as an LNA.

In his time off, David enjoyed rock-hounding, fishing, and especially spending time with his sons.

He was predeceased by his father, Robert Plachetzki.

David is survived by his wife, Katie Plachetzki, to whom he was married on June 24, 2006; his four sons, Michael, Colin, Sawyer, and Gabriel; his mother, Theresa Halley and her husband, Shawn; his brother, Daniel Plachetzki; his in-laws, Daniel R. and Laurie Elliott; his brother-in-law, Daniel J. Elliott; his special uncle, Thomas Plachetzki and wife Joan; along with cousins and many friends.

Calling hours will be on Friday, April 30 from 7-8 PM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville.

A funeral service will be on Saturday, May 1 at 11 AM at the Benton Bible Chapel, 4 Hanson Way, Benton with Pastor Wayne Chevalier, officiating.

Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Benton.
