Obituary

David Wayne Fenoff, 74, of North Haverhill, NH, passed away peacefully at his home on October 6, 2026.

He was born on September 24, 1952, in Woodsville, NH, to the late Erwin Fenoff and "Kitty" Pollander.

At the age of 18, he enlisted in the military. David served his Country in the United States Marines for 4 years, serving during the Vietnam War. He was proud of his service.

In 2001, David met his soulmate, Kathy Greenwood. Kathy changed his life and made all our lives a little brighter. Elizabeth Gilbert said, "A true soulmate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life."

In his later years, David developed a familial relationship with Windy Ridge Apple Orchard. For several years, he drove the cow train, which always added sunshine to his days.

David's family will miss his famous apple crisp, yearly Yankee Swap, his smoked pepperoni and cheese, even his intentional silence during any Red Sox games.

David enjoyed gardening, hunting, spending time with family and friends, and just about anything sports-related if it involved NASCAR, Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, or New England Patriots.

David had a soft spot for his two spoiled fur babies, Hondo and Trouble.

David is survived by his loving partner, Kathy Greenwood, of North Haverhill, NH; 5 Daughters, Deborah Sweeney and husband Rob of Lunenburg, VT, Tina Heywood and husband Bill of Newbury, VT, Christy Sulham and husband Jason of South Ryegate, VT, Maegan Klemm and husband Chris of Salem, NH, Stepdaughter Sarah Yeargle of Woodsville, NH., a Son, Daryn Gibson, a Sister, Priscilla Aldrich and husband Paul of Swiftwater, NH. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, Jeremy, Jasmine, Korina, Isabelle, Falon, Cassandra, Crystal, Ty, Bryannah, Morgan, Trucker, Felicity, Rhys, Tyler, and Ella. David is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Layla, Ethan, Maverick, Paislynn, and many Nieces and Nephews.

David was predeceased by his parents, Erwin Fenoff and Kitty Pollander; sisters Linda Roberts and Brenda Schaver; brother, Stephen Wheelock; and nephew, Mark Aldrich.

David's family would like to thank Kathy Greenwood for advocating for him and caring so deeply for him throughout their years together.

A special thanks to Gary Martel for being such a good friend to David.

Services will be held privately.

Your Dad is gone, it's true

No breaths, no signs of life

Only blankets of red, white and blue

I saw the Angels there too

Graceful and radiant Guardians

Descended, solely for you

Grief is suffocating, we all agree

But, there is peace knowing

Your tired body has been set free

We will be together again

Living, dancing and laughing

We love you Dad-Amen
