Diane Beatrice Bate Jeffries age 75 of Lisbon, NH 03585 passed away unexpectedly at Littleton Regional Hospital on January 26, 2023. Diane was born on January 28th, 1947, to Harold and Margaret Bate of Canada. Diane finished the 8th grade then helped take care of her 9 siblings.
On October 14, 1989, she married Thomas Jeffries who resides in Lisbon, NH. Diane was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. With very little help she raised 3 beautiful daughters and with the help of her husband Tom raised two wonderful grandsons.
She loved to cook big meals for her family. Her lasagna and apple pie were one of a kind. She enjoyed walking on the beach, going for car rides, and loved to listen to the oldies. When the music was going you could almost guarantee she was dancing to it. She enjoyed going to the casinos and loved her scratch tickets. During the holidays she loved to decorate the house and yard for the grandchildren. In the spring and summer, you would always find her outside tending to her rose bushes and the many flowers she planted. She had an amazing green thumb. She loved her roses! In the past year she enjoyed her McDonalds burger and fries with her husband, Tom.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Jeffries of Lisbon, NH, Her two daughters Lisa Marie – Ann Peterson and husband Scott Peterson of Lisbon, NH, and Daine Rochon of Lewiston, Maine. Two stepdaughters Carol Jeffries Demelo of RI, and Melissa Jefferies of MA. Grandchildren, Scotty Rochon and his wife Kammi Rochon of Lisbon, Christopher Rochon of Lisbon, Brenda Noe and her husband Aaron of Indiana, Alexandria Peltier and husband Dan of Landaff, Jacob Peterson of Lisbon, and Hailey Peterson of Lisbon. And many great grandchildren.
Siblings – Brother, Johnny Bate, Sister Maria Oliveria, Frank Farias, Peter Farias, Mary Farias, and Margaret Potwin.
She is predeceased by her Daughter Tammy Tardiff 2022, Sister Marjorie Levesque 1997, William Farias 2016, Douglas Bate 2017.
A celebration of life will be held in May.
