Bradford, VT Doris Farmer LeLacheur, 91, died on Friday, March 1, 2013 at the Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, NH. She was born in Rogers, AR, June 3, 1921, the daughter of William and Minnie (Autry) Farmer. Doris was raised in Taft, TX and graduated from Taft High School. She married Arthur Joseph LeLacheur, Jr. in January of 1943. After a military career they continued to raise their family in Chelmsford, MA, and then she moved to Bradford, VT in 1979 to be closer to her family. Doris was always a Texan at heart. She loved to cook, sew, and spend time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Joseph LeLacheur, Jr.; a grandson, William Fischer; a son-in-law, Dick Fischer; and a brother, William Farmer, Jr. Survivors include her four daughters, Lynda Fischer of Bradford, VT, Jayme Braun and husband Carl III of Gilmanton, NH, Jan O Neill and husband Eugene of Kennebunkport, ME, and Lori Constantine and husband Jaime of Newbury, VT; nine grandchildren, James Fischer, Chris Slack, Michele Dow, Carl Braun IV, Robert Braun, Jackie O Neill Sparling, Elizabeth Hassler, Joshua Constantine, and Nicholas Constantine; and nine great grandchildren, Alexandra Slack, Sarita Fischer, Morgan Fischer, Ashton Fischer, Allana Ricker, Juliana Dow, Zachary Braun, Sophia Braun, and Violet Sparling. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be in the Fairview Cemetery, North Chelmsford, MA in the spring.
