Woodsville, NH Doris Marie Wadley, 96, a former longtime Woodsville resident, died October 18, 2011 at the Woodridge Nursing Home, Berlin, VT. She was born in Rock Island, Quebec, March 16, 1915, a daughter of Adelard and Emma (Proulx) Boucher. Doris graduated from Woodsville High School, Class of 1934, and for many years worked at the former Pat Hill Department Store and Sears & Roebuck Catalog Store, both in Woodsville. Doris was an active communicant of St. Joseph s Catholic Church of Woodsville and was a member of the Horsemeadow Senior Center in North Haverhill, NH. Doris was an avid Bingo player. She married Frank W. Wadley in 1937 and he predeceased her on February 8, 1973. She was also predeceased by a sister, Antoinette Pletzer; a brother, Maurice Boucher, and a step-daughter, Eileen Ruth Wadley. Survivors include her sister, Bertha Keen of Pittsfield, MA; a step son, Frank Wadley, Jr, of Braintree, MA; along with several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, October 24th, at 11 AM in St. Joseph s Catholic Church, 15 Pine Street, Woodsville, NH with Father Jeffrey Statz, Celebrant.
