Peacham, VT -- Dorothy Louise Moore Glasser passed away January 17, 2011 at Beverly Hospital from complications from pneumonia, at the age of 93. Born November 17, 1917 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Mrs. Glasser was the wife of the late Rev. James C. Glasser. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Inez (Hale) Moore of Cincinnati, Ohio. She leaves two children, Nancy L. Toney and her husband Brad of Melrose, and James F. Glasser and his wife Patricia of Beverly. She also leaves four grandchildren, Becky McGill and her husband Tom of Melrose, MA, Brian Toney of Cambridge, Janet L. Glasser of Beverly, and David J. Glasser and his wife Reilly of Lynn. She leaves 3 great grandchildren; Ryan Melanson of Beverly, Tavin and Kaylee McGill of Melrose. "Dottie" Glasser was an avid reader, knitter, sewer, baker and sports fan. She was involved with many church related organizations for Dane Street Congregational Church in Beverly, First Congregational Church in Melrose, and the Peacham Congregational Church in Peacham, VT. She frequently made donations of her handiwork to charitable organizations and church fairs. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, January 20th from 5 to 7 PM at Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH. Funeral service will be held at the Peacham Congregational Church, Church St., Peacham, VT on Friday, January 21st at 12:00 PM.
