Warren, NH Edna Louise Chase, 78, of Chase Road, died February 14, 2009 at Hanover Terrace Healthcare. She was born in Orange, NH, January 22, 1931, a daughter of Walter Howard and Alice (Eastman) Dimond. Mrs. Chase was predeceased by her husband Leon Chase in March 1991. Mrs. Chase was a member of the Warren United Methodist Church. She loved cooking and farming, and had a tremendous love for all her family. She enjoyed bird watching from her window, her flowers, and her cat, Zach. Edna will be remembered for her generous loving personality. Survivors include three daughters, Judy Ramsey and husband Tom of Warren, Nancy Simmons of Pike, NH, and Ruth Keniston of Roanoke,VA; a son Alan Dimond of Warren; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren; two sisters, Jennie Sousa of Canaan, and Esther Chase of Lebanon; a brother Arthur Dimond of Canaan; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be no calling hours. A graveside memorial service will be on May 18 at 2 PM, in Orange Cemetery, Orange, NH. Pastor David Borchers of the Lochmere, NH Baptist Church will officiate.
