Edward Nelson Sargent age 69 of Pike, NH passed away at his home on December 6, 2024. Edward was born September 20, 1955, in Hanover NH, to Oris N Sargent and Janice A (Grant) Sargent. He grew up in Pike and attended school in Woodsville. Edward worked at HG Woods for many years before retiring from the Veneer mill.

He married Kathy (Kelley) on September 7, 1991, in Pike, NH. Together, they combined their families and had four children. He enjoyed fishing, old cars, Harleys and watching old western movies or Sponge Bob. He loved fixing up old cars and riding snowmobiles. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed pulling pranks on anyone who would let him. He was always the first to lend a helping hand and worked as hard as he could for his family. He was always happiest with a grandbaby in his arms. He loved spending time with his grandkids more than anything.

Edward is survived by his wife Kathy of Pike; four children, Christina (Steve) Bolles of Bradford VT, James (Faith) Kelley of Sutton NH, Michael (Jessica Allen) Wright of Bradford VT, and Derrick (Juli) Kelley of Rumney NH; nineteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two siblings, Orin Sargent of Pike, and Bonnie (Philip) Tompson of Pike.

He was preceded in death by his parents Oris N. and Janice A. Sargent, father-in-law James Kelley, and mother-in-law Arlene Kelley

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
