Edward C. Wiggett, 75, of Sargent Street, North Woodstock passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at home.

Born on April 16, 1948, in Lincoln, NH, he was the son of the late Edward and Emma (Wright) Wiggett.

He grew up in Lincoln, NH and joined the Navy on April 5, 1966 and served our country until March 25, 1969.  Upon return started working at the Franconia Paper Mill and then worked for multiple local construction companies and the Town of Woodstock, Highway Department.

He was an avid racing fan who enjoyed watching his son Mark and grandson Tyler race whenever he could.

He was predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Barbara J (Martin) Wiggett when she passed on August 1, 2018.

He is survived by his two sons Michael and wife Dionne of Essex Junction, VT and Mark of North Woodstock; three grandchildren Kasandra Wiggett of Goffstown, NH, Grace Wiggett of Essex Junction, VT and Tyler Jones and partner Amanda Bennett of Woodstock, NH, great granddaughter Delaney; and a sister Annie Coffin of Fairlee, VT/Leesburg, FL along with an uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was a member of the Woodstock Fire Department for 40 years.

SERVICES:  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 5 at 10 a.m. at the Woodstock Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
