Franklin, NH – Elaine Belyea, 71, formerly of Glencliff, NH, died on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the Peabody Home, Franklin, NH.

Elaine was born on February 6, 1945, the daughter of Charles M. and Alberta (Harriman) Belyea.

She graduated from Haverhill Academy and Plymouth State College. Elaine was a elementary school teacher for 3 years in Littleton, NH and 33 years in Sanford, ME. Following retirement she moved back home to Glencliff.

She was predeceased by her parents, Charles M. Belyea on March 1, 1980 and Alberta (Harriman) Belyea on December 28, 1994; a sister, Phyllis Redman in 1988; and two brothers, Delbert Belyea in 1994 and Charles "Neal" Belyea on June 30, 2014.

Elaine is survived by her brother, Keith Belyea and wife Wanda of Franklin, NH; and by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, March 2, from 3 to 4 PM with a funeral service to begin at 4 PM, at the Ricker Funeral Home, 1 Birch Street, Woodsville, NH with Pastor Jim Burow officiating.

Burial will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family in the Glencliff Cemetery.
