Elizabeth "Betty" Roy, 78, North Haverhill, NH, died on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at the Grafton County Nursing Home.  She was born in Newbury, VT to Harry J Cushing Sr. and Doris Meader on January 29, 1945.  She attended Newbury VT schools. Betty enjoyed playing BINGO, and scratch tickets, spending time outdoors fishing, and had a knack for finding wild asparagus.
She is predeceased by her parents; siblings, Harry J Cushing Jr., Priscilla Cushing, Ruth Fifield, Harold Murdock, Mary Coutermarsh, Ben Murdock, and George Cushing; two nephews, Jared A. Cushing, and Joseph C. Cushing.
Betty is survived by her children, Arthur Mace, Alice Mace, and Sandy Manell, siblings Kathryn Cushing, Doreen Delano, Linda Whitehill, Patricia Carl, and James Cushing and his wife Becky; and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The burial will be in the spring at Boltonville Cemetery in Newbury.
