Woodsville, NH- Erwin Clarence Fenoff, 95, of Central Street, died on Saturday, September 15, 2018, at Cottage Hospital in Woodsville.
Erwin was born in Lisbon, NH on February 1, 1923, to Winfield and Wyllian (Chase) Fenoff. He lived most of his childhood in Lyman, NH and worked his own farm when they moved to South Ryegate, VT. He was a self-employed logger and worked at DCI as a watchman for a few years before helping in their craft and small furniture department. After retiring, he made his own furniture and crafts to sell. He loved to feed his birds and plant his flowers and watch them grow. He had magic fingers for houseplants.
Erwin married Phyllis Camp on January 13, 1961 and she predeceased him on March 31, 2000. He is also predeceased by a daughter, Brenda Shaver and son in law Frank Shaver; two sisters, Charlotte and Madeline; and five brothers, Bertrum, Winfield Jr., Donald, Everett, and Robert Fenoff.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda Roberts and companion Darlene Ferraro of Massachusetts; a son, David Fenoff and companion Kathy Greenwood of North Haverhill, NH; a step-daughter, Priscilla Aldrich and husband Paul of Swiftwater, NH; a step-son, Stephen Wheelock and wife Donnie of Stigler, OK; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and step-grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Catteral and Velma Locke, both of Lisbon; many nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Matthew Mackie of Lyman.
There will be no public services.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Pettyboro Cemetery, Bath, NH.
